McDonald's is experimenting with extremely long distance order taking.

A call center in Hawaii has been taking drive-thru orders for McDonald's joints in California, Wyoming and Mississippi. The workers at the call center are under close video and electronic scrutiny.

So the next time you yell at the person at your local Mickey D's over a screwed up order, you might be yelling at the wrong person.
