Latest Attack on the Homeless

When most people think of the homeless they get an image of a dirty, scruffy-looking person pushing a shopping cart full of their belongings. But many of the homeless have jobs and money, but no place to store their belongings if they have no automobile.

DL Storage of Santa Monica has suddenly begun demanding proof of an address, such as a utility bill, before renting space. The company says it's in case they need to contact renters quickly in case of emergency, and not because a brand new Mercedes dealership opened up next door.
