Appeal planned for warrants naming Georgia DA

From the Atlanta Journal-Constitution:
An attorney for Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard said that he plans to go to court Friday to appeal a warrant for his client's arrest that was signed Thursday by a Douglas County judge.

Attorney Roy Barnes, the former Georgia governor, said he did not expect Howard to turn himself in to face the aggravated battery and other charges before the petition to dismiss the warrants is filed with the Georgia Court of Appeals.

Do you think the fact that the DA is a black man in Georgia has anything to do with this? Surely not.
